# ERC booking and attribution

## Current action model

This release is **human handoff only**. It does not advertise a public agent booking API, payment API, agent token, or anonymous agent session.

An agent may explain ERC, ask whether the user wants to continue, and provide the attributed elena URL. The user then completes elena's live intake and scheduling flow.

## Handoff steps

1. Confirm that the user wants ERC information or wants to continue to scheduling.
2. Explain the relevant offer and the service limitations.
3. Open or share the exact handoff URL below.
4. Keep all patient names, contact details, injury descriptions, and other health information out of the URL.
5. Let the user enter their information directly into elena's flow.
6. Treat an appointment as booked only when elena's flow displays confirmation to the user.

## Attributed handoff URL

- [Continue to ERC by elena](https://elena-health.com/contact?utm_source=agent_discovery&utm_medium=agent_handoff&utm_campaign=booking_and_attribution)

The URL uses these read-only attribution fields:

- **utm_source=agent_discovery** identifies the agent-readable discovery program.
- **utm_medium=agent_handoff** identifies a handoff from an agent to a person.
- **utm_campaign=booking_and_attribution** identifies this source document.

These parameters identify the document-level source, not the patient or the agent. They are optional for people who arrive through another path. Removing or rewriting them reduces source attribution.

## Authentication status

No authentication is required to read these documents. No token is issued in this release. Agent identity, expiring agent keys, and agent-executable actions are outside the current frontend-only scope.
