# ERC safety and service limitations

## Emergency boundary

ERC is not an emergency service. If a user may have an emergency, direct them to local emergency services or an appropriate urgent-care resource instead of the elena handoff.

## Clinical boundary

- Public agent documents describe a service. They do not diagnose an injury or provide a treatment plan.
- Do not promise a diagnosis, a particular treatment, a specific physician, or a recovery outcome.
- Do not imply that faster access guarantees faster healing or return to activity.
- Same- or next-day telehealth access is subject to clinician availability, patient location, and clinical eligibility.

## Geographic boundary

elena can coordinate recovery logistics for people across the United States. Clinician appointments depend on where the patient is located and whether an appropriate clinician is available and eligible to provide care there. Do not present sports medicine appointments as universally available in every state.

## Text-support boundary

The Complete Injury Recovery Plan includes direct messaging during its 60-day period. A user may send a message at any time, but elena does not guarantee an immediate response or continuous clinician staffing at every hour.

## Privacy boundary

- Do not put names, email addresses, phone numbers, injury descriptions, or other health information in handoff URLs.
- Do not send patient data to these public documents.
- Let the user enter sensitive information directly into elena's live flow.

## Transaction boundary

This release provides information and an attributed human handoff. It does not expose an agent booking or payment API. An agent must not claim that it booked, charged, canceled, or rescheduled anything unless elena's user-facing flow has confirmed that action.
